Our location, in the heart of the Périgord Noir (south of Sarlat), makes the vacation village an ideal base for cycling tours. Located in Domme, on the edge of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park, and surrounded by an exceptional architectural heritage (Sarlat, Beynac, Castelnaud, Domme, etc.), it enables you to enjoy cycling outings that are both challenging and rich in scenery and cultural heritage. Plateaus, greenways, valley bottoms, steep gradients, mountain passes – you’ll find every possible trail difficulty right at your fingertips.

Tailor-made holidays for cycling clubs

We’re here to advise and support you throughout your itinerary search. The village of Les Ventoulines is ideally located: in Domme, in the heart of the “Golden Triangle – Dordogne Valley”, a major site in Aquitaine, with its caves, castles, medieval bastides and more.

You’ll ride on marked circuits and trails adapted to everyone’s abilities. Sports clubs and cyclo-tourist associations will find tailor-made tours to suit their needs, combining the sporting side with the discovery side of the region.

For those accompanying cycling enthusiasts, there are also much more accessible itineraries along the three greenways.

Some examples of prices (excluding school vacations and bank holidays):

Meals are hearty and correspond to the needs of athletes

Accommodation in the heart of nature

We can accommodate groups of up to 55 people on a full-board basis.

We offer accommodation in small, independent 2-bedroom gîtes.

It’s a chance for your group to get together in the heart of nature, in the forest, surrounded by birdsong.

The whole group meets for meals in the large dining room, which seats 55.

Take a rest!

After cycling dozens of kilometers, you can relax on your private terrace, before joining your group at the pool or bar.

And above all, you’ll be able to get a good night’s sleep. In these cottages, you’ll find peace and quiet and excellent bedding. The vacation village is silent from 11 p.m. onwards.

Comfortable!

No need to share your bathroom with strangers. You’ll have your own private bathroom, or a bathroom to share with the occupants of your gîte (see plans below).

Bed linen and towels are provided.

If you fancy a coffee, herbal tea or snack outside group meal times, you’ll find everything you need to prepare or store these snacks in the chalet: coffee makers, hobs, crockery, microwave, fridge with freezer, etc.

The wellness area and swimming pool are open until 9pm, so you can unwind after a day of activities.

Activities for your spouse

At Les Ventoulines, we welcome cyclists’ spouses. And they’ll have a rich and enjoyable stay! It will be absolutely impossible for them to get bored, as the Périgord Noir offers so many varied activities: it’s hard to list them all! We know several holiday families who have been coming for a week every year for the past 10 years and always have something to discover.

Gentle sport activities

-Rent an electric bike from our partner: for the first time, your partner may want to accompany you on a tour, with the pleasure of following you without slowing you down!

-Canoe hire at preferential rates: the trip down the Dordogne near Domme is really superb. As the Dordogne bends, you’ll come across no less than three of France’s “Most Beautiful Villages”. A truly magical mini-cruise!
